In Joshua 24, Joshua was addressing the children of Israel and told them that they had choices to make. They can serve the gods of other nations or they can choose the God of Israel. And then he said, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
 
I choose the God of Israel as the God of my household and the founding fathers of this nation chose God as our God of this nation. I agree with them and that's where I stand.
