And so it begins, my new journey,..."The Loop"!
Last year I planted a pretty Teddy Bear Sunflower - and on the care tag that came with it, it said that "sometimes it will re-seed itself" (I guess that is an alternative to a perennial plant!). And it did! Here's a picture of it.
So far the bloom is about half the size of the original, but it is still a pretty flower and I'm glad that it came up!
It reminds me to not give up and to pursue even when it doesn't look like what you thought it would look like.
I have been in a process over the last couple of years finding and defining, aligning and re-aligning, building and re-building, and now it feels like I'm taking shape. I've been "re-seeded"!
I'm not where I started to go to. I'm where I GOT TO GROW TO!
Here I am creating a blog post for my new website. And telling my story of my morphing into who I am today on this new journey.
You know, we all do that. It's part of growing. We are always changing - hopefully we are growing and learning from our lessons learned. That's life. That's LIVING!
And isn't that what we really want to do? Live life! And that is why Jesus came. He said in John 10:10 that he came that we might "have life and have it abundantly" ESV (for without him, we have death-another story for another time).
To me that means that I live fulfilling purpose, creating my dreams, and most of all MOVING FORWARD. I have been in my season of stagnation. It is now my season of motivation.
What motivates me now is designing, creating, building, and growing!
So come along on my new journey. The designs in Loraine's Faith Place are my designs I have created with the help of elements of wonderful artists (which I have purchased for the right to do so). I love putting together the designs with colors, texts, and my imagination.
My mission is to encourage you in your walk of faith by my designs. May you feel that when you wear a t shirt or drink from a mug, or whatever item you purchased. THIS is my way of motivating you, too!
I am so glad to start this new journey and I'll be keeping you in "The Loop!"
